BADG PROGRAMMING

Representation in the arts matters because it helps to reinforce models of success for emerging and current Black artists, makers, and designers. It provides creatives with role models in respective fields. Seeing more faces that look like yours succeed illuminates not a path, but possibility.

PROJECTs:

BADG partnered with Colossal Media for a series of public artworks spotlighting original works by artists from underrepresented communities.

BADG designers created the Blackouflage installation at Design Miami to foster conversations among and about Black creatives.

BADG members joined DIFFA’s Dining by Design in one of the premier fundraising events in the industry to raise funds to fight HIV/AIDS.

BADG designed a tablescape to honor women of Ndongo at the 2019 Spring Gala for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House.

BADG artists designed the Transcend Space at the NY Now Trade show. The booth’s theme was A Love Letter to Black Creatives.
