PUBLIC PROGRAMMING

We support initiatives designed to increase exposure for our Black artists and designers. We invite members of the public to events designed to build awareness, introduce artists, and inspire conversation.

Case Studies:

A lunch time talk series during the Affordable Art Fair. BADG hosted panel discussions and conversations centered on Black Art and Design.

Designers gathered at the D&D Building in NYC for dialogues on African diaspora design and emerging black talents.

BADG’s inaugural show—a spring preview pop-up of work at Décor New York, showcasing a range of Black designers.

A multipart event with a pop-up art show and conversation about the significance of building and protecting the legacies of Black artists.

BADG designers took the stage at NYSID to discuss what it takes to become a successful interior designer.

A public conversation with Black artists about their creative processes and commitments to honor the legacy of the diaspora.
