WE SUPPORT CRAFT MAKERS
The 2025 Creative Futures Grant is designed to recognize and support a Grad Student enrolled in an MFA program who is impacted contemporary craft and affirm Black Diasporic culture.

“The Haystack Open Studio Residency afforded me the opportunity to expand my creativity in ways I never expected. As an Interior designer, I work with many makers, but during this program, I truly found my focus and flow as an artist. I was fully immersed in watching and learning how magnificent artists from far and wide dived into their process and craft. I found magic in my creativity here, and I will forever be grateful for this experience of uninterrupted creative joy.”
- Shari Francis, Interior Designer, Brooklyn, NY
